Today, another meeting of cooking enthusiasts was held at the Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych im. mjra Henryka Sucharskiego in Bolesławiec. Once again, the event confirmed that the school is a place open to developing talents and passions, as well as integrating different communities.

Students of ZSOiZ and students of the Powiatowy Zespół Szkół i Placówek Specjalnych took part in the culinary workshop. The meeting was also attended by Bolesławiec County Governor Tomasz Gabrysiak, Member of the County Board Alina Zarembecka and Head of the Organizational Department Alicja Lech.

The workshop was led by Szymon Przystupa – Executive Chef and member of the French Culinary Academy – Académie Nationale de Cuisine. He gained his experience during internships at renowned Michelin-starred restaurants, including “Atelier Amaro” and “Alcron” at the Radisson hotel in Prague. His professional achievements also include working as the personal chef of the world-famous artist Ed Sheeran.

The central theme of the meeting was the use of seafood in a carnival-style menu. Participants had the opportunity to learn the secrets of preparing, among other dishes, an aromatic shrimp soup with coconut milk, enoki mushrooms, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and coriander, as well as tagliatelle with shrimp, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh herbs and Parmigiano Reggiano.

The workshop was not only an opportunity to learn and cook together, but above all to share a passion and discover new culinary inspirations.

ZSOiZ in Bolesławiec is a place that not only teaches the art of cooking, but also effectively supports young people in discovering their talents and passions in various areas of life.
