Privacy and personal data protection

The controller of personal data is Istotne Informacje Krzysztof Gwizdała, with its registered office at ul. Gałczyńskiego 2d/6, 59-700 Bolesławiec, Poland, Tax ID 612-151-70-47, entered under number 9727 in the business register maintained by the Mayor of Bolesławiec.

What data do we collect?

Data provided when creating an account

When you sign in with Facebook, we collect the first and last name displayed on your Facebook account and your Facebook ID. When you sign in with Google, we collect the first name, last name and email address provided to Google.

When you register by email, we record your email address, telephone number and login. The password is stored as a cryptographic hash and we do not know its content.

A user account may contain a login, email address, telephone number, avatar, newsletter consent, account creation and update dates, login count, last login date and technical data related to external sign-in, including the identifier and name of the social-login provider.

Data required to create an account is necessary to use account services. The avatar and newsletter consent are optional and can be changed in account settings. Your login, avatar and selected public account activity may be displayed with your posts or public profile. You can delete the data available in account settings or ask us to do so through the contact form.

Data provided with a classified advertisement

When you submit an advertisement, you provide its content, category and email address and may also provide a telephone number, price, photographs and details appropriate to the listing, such as vehicle, property or job information. The telephone number may be shown to users. The email address is stored but is not displayed publicly.

Comments, forum and contact

When you publish a comment or forum post, we store its content, any connection with your account, and the IP address and port. We use this data to publish and moderate submissions, maintain security and handle reports.

When you use the contact form, we process the name or designation entered in the form, email address, message, any attachment and technical submission data, including the IP address, port and submission date. If contact takes place through an integrated communication channel, we may also store a conversation identifier, display name, login, telephone number, email address and avatar URL supplied by that channel.

Orders and payments

If you place an order or use a paid service, we store the order data, amount, payment status, account reference, IP address and information required for a sales document. Depending on the selected option, this may include an email address, company name, Polish Tax ID or VAT ID, first and last name, street, postal code, town, country and telephone number. Data needed for payment processing and sales documents may be transferred to the payment operator and invoicing system.

Data collected automatically

When you browse the website, system logs collect data such as your IP address, requested URLs, server response code, request date and time and technical request information. We and the hosting company use this data for technical, security, diagnostic and statistical purposes.

When you submit a comment, forum post, advertisement, order or contact message, we may record the IP address of your device for security, abuse prevention and the establishment, exercise or defence of possible claims.

Data processed by partners

We use advertising and analytics tools supplied by external partners, particularly Google and Taboola. Depending on your consents and privacy settings, these tools may process information about your device, browser, approximate location, use of the website, advertising impressions and interactions with advertisements.

Google services may include Google Ad Manager, Google AdSense, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for advertising, measurement and analytics. Taboola may provide content and advertising recommendations and measure their effectiveness.

Advertising and analytics that require consent are activated according to your selection in the consent notice. We use Google CMP and the IAB TCF standard, allowing advertising partners to read your consent choices. You may consent, refuse or manage your choices in the consent panel.

Ordinary local graphic banners linking to local addresses may operate without advertising consent. Advertisements delivered as advertiser HTML or JavaScript may contain external resources, scripts, pixels or measurement elements and are activated according to the applicable consent rules.

We display advertisements served by Google. Google and its partners use cookies to display advertisements based on visits to this and other websites. You can manage their use through Google privacy settings.

We also display advertisements and recommendations served by Taboola. Taboola and its partners may use cookies based on visits to this and other websites. Opt-out information is available in the Taboola privacy policy.

Analytics or measurement services may also be provided by Google Analytics, Taboola, WhitePress and Linkhouse.

Cookies and similar technologies

The service uses cookies and similar technologies such as localStorage. Some are necessary for operation, security, sign-in, forms, saved settings and abuse prevention. They may operate without separate consent because they are needed to provide a service you request.

Cookies and similar technologies used for advertising, advertising measurement, analytics, personalisation or external providers are activated according to the choices made in the consent notice.

Our own cookies and local data are used in particular for sessions, sign-in and automatic sign-in, form protection, remembering dismissed notices, polls, forum votes and reports, the selected visual theme and auxiliary handling of local advertising. We do not use our own cookies to track users across unrelated websites.

Partners such as Google and Taboola may use their own cookies, identifiers and similar technologies for advertising, frequency control, measurement, fraud detection, analytics and personalisation where the appropriate consent has been granted. You can manage consent in the website consent panel and can also restrict or remove cookies in your browser. Restricting cookies may prevent some functions from operating correctly.

How long do we retain data?

We retain data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or until you delete it where deletion is possible and lawful. Some data, including IP addresses recorded with comments, advertisements and contact messages, may be kept longer for security, abuse prevention and the establishment, exercise or defence of claims.

Cookie retention depends on the type of cookie and browser settings. Some expire when the session ends, while others may remain longer to remember settings or support website functions.

Your rights

You have the right to access and rectify your data, erase it, restrict processing, receive or transfer data, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

You may lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that processing infringes data-protection law. Information on the applicable rules is available in the General Data Protection Regulation.

Form security

Form contents are transmitted between your device and the server over an encrypted connection.

Managing cookies
