Officers from Police Station II in Jelenia Góra identified and then detained a 19-year-old city resident suspected of damaging property. Police headquarters:
In July and August of this year, the 19-year-old intentionally damaged his neighbor’s car. The vandal smashed its windshield and destroyed all the headlights.
The victim estimated the losses at PLN 12,000.
Based on the information collected and an analysis of surveillance camera footage, police identified and then detained the 19-year-old as a suspect in the crime.

The detainee stated that he had committed the act because he had argued with the owner and then taken out his anger on the man’s car.
The teenager now faces up to five years in prison.
