The incident was recorded by our camera. The footage shows a person who, at 4:24 p.m., crossed over two spans above Dolne Młyny Street and walked toward the span above the bypass. The young man then turned back and fell (jumped?) from the viaduct two minutes later. A woman driving a car and pedestrians were the first to respond to the incident.
A moment later, the police and an emergency medical team arrived at the scene. The young man was taken to an ambulance and transported to hospital in critical condition.
Update 9:36 p.m.
The police established that the young man is 20 years old and lives in Bolesławiec County.
