Although the mushroom-picking season falls in autumn, the first boletes, including the so-called colourful boletes, have already appeared in forests and parks. There are not many of them, probably because of the drought, but it is already possible to gather enough for, for example, a delicious sauce.
Which colourful boletes can be found in Bolesławiec and the surrounding area?
Among the aforementioned colourful and edible* boletes, you may come across:
- red-pored boletes (cover photo),
- yellow-red boletes,

- porcini.
Where should you look for colourful boletes?
In deciduous forests and parks, wherever oaks, beeches and lindens grow...
