The incident occurred on June 28, at around 11 a.m., in Proboszczów (Złotoryja County). – The duty officer at the District Police Headquarters in Złotoryja received a report stating that a car had fallen into the river – reports junior aspirant Dominika Kwakszys, press officer for the local District Police Headquarters.
She adds: – The officers who arrived at the scene determined that the 20-year-old was driving a passenger car. Heading toward Pielgrzymka, he lost control of the vehicle on a sharp bend, ran off the road, broke through the barriers on the bridge and fell into the river.
