Police officers from Bolesławiec, working as part of the regional SPEED group, stopped a passenger car for inspection while patrolling the Nowogrodziec area. The vehicle was driven by a 23-year-old resident of Bolesławiec Municipality.
Where the speed limit was 50 km/h, the woman was driving at 103 km/h. She was fined and received 10 penalty points. Moreover, the officers confiscated her driving licence for three months.
District Police Headquarters:
We appeal to drivers to ease off the accelerator. The weather, particularly in autumn, can be highly changeable, and sunshine does not always mean a dry road surface. Therefore, drivers should observe speed limits and adjust their speed to the prevailing conditions.
The officers add:
Driving too fast is not only a risk of losing your driving licence, but also a serious threat to the safety of all road users.
