The incident occurred in Warta Bolesławiecka. An officer from the police station in Warta Bolesławiecka, while off duty, stopped a vehicle that was travelling on a pedestrian and cycle path.
The driver, who had committed an offence, admitted that he was currently subject to a driving ban.
Officers dispatched to the scene confirmed that the 30-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County had been driving a car despite a court-imposed driving ban. The man will now answer for his actions before the court. He could face up to five years in prison.
