Officers from the Property Crime Division of the Legnica Municipal Police Headquarters identified and then arrested an 18-year-old man wanted by the court. The teenager was suspected of robbing a pizza delivery driver. (The first attacker—a 20-year-old—was arrested within two days of the incident).
The younger of the aggressors was apprehended by the police after 11 days. As it turned out, the teenager had committed another robbery as well. On February 23, together with an unidentified accomplice, he attacked two men in the attic of a building on Dmowskiego Street. He stole their power tools, then pulled out a gas canister and threatened to use it.
The 18-year-old was remanded in custody for three months. He could face up to 12 years in prison.
