At the beginning of the ceremony, the brigade commander, Colonel Maciej Jabłoński, thanked Lieutenant Colonel Adam Luzyńczyk for his service in the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade, while also congratulating him on his promotion and appointment to the next service rank. He then addressed Warrant Officer Emil Lejba and Sergeant Daniel Nowak, thanking them for their many years of work for the Świętoszów unit. Bidding farewell to the departing soldiers, Colonel Jabłoński expressed hope that they would not forget the brigade and their former colleagues, but would remember their years of service in Świętoszów warmly and fondly.

“I served in Świętoszów for a short time, but the intensity of work in the 10th Brigade is enormous. It was a period of hard but rewarding service. I learned about the specifics of working in a brigade. Even in a short time, anyone who wants to can get to know the brigade very well. Thank you for the good cooperation and good organization of work. I will remember this period of my life in the brigade fondly, and I will always feel great affection for Świętoszów. Not everyone has the opportunity to serve in a fully staffed brigade with such human and equipment potential. It was a pleasure,” said Lieutenant Colonel Adam Luzyńczyk.

Warrant Officer Lejba and Sergeant Nowak also expressed their thanks for their shared service. “I fondly remember the time spent on training grounds with my subunit colleagues. I certainly will not forget my years in Świętoszów. My colleagues can always count on my help and support, even now that I am leaving,” said Warrant Officer Lejba. Sergeant Nowak added: “Time will tell whether my decision to leave the brigade was right or wrong. I will remember my service in Świętoszów, especially in the 1st Battalion, very well. I thank my commanders and colleagues. Working with you was a pleasure.”

The departing soldiers’ superiors then spoke. Lieutenant Colonel Janusz Tucki, the brigade’s head of rocket forces and artillery, spoke on behalf of the head of training of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade. “Working with Lieutenant Colonel Luzyńczyk was very good. We exchanged knowledge and experience in every possible area of activity, or together looked for solutions to apply in our daily service. I sincerely thank you for our shared service and wish you continued success,” said Lieutenant Colonel Tucki, then addressing the non-commissioned officers: “I regret seeing such well-trained and experienced soldiers leave our brigade. As we heard, Sergeant Nowak’s service record was very rich; you developed and wanted to achieve something. The same applies to Warrant Officer Lejba. I hope that the decision to leave the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade is another step forward in your careers and your lives. All the best.”

Sergeant Nowak was also bid farewell by the commander and colleagues from the Leopard Training Center (OSL). “It will be difficult to replace you, Daniel. You supported us with your experience and knowledge. You trained many specialists. You decided that you would now develop elsewhere, so all I can do is wish you success and soldiers’ good fortune,” said Major Krzysztof Kacperek, commander of the OSL, presenting the soldier with a commemorative board featuring photographs and the signatures of all his colleagues from the center.

At the end, Lieutenant Colonel Michał Koniarz, commander of the logistics battalion, spoke. “I thank Lieutenant Colonel Luzyńczyk for our good cooperation. We know each other not only from Świętoszów, but also served together in Kosovo. I thank Warrant Officer Lejba; he is a good, experienced and conscientious non-commissioned officer, a good communications specialist. Finally, I thank Sergeant Nowak for our cooperation. I wish you success and soldiers’ good fortune, even if in other units and in a different field. Do not forget the 10th Brigade, remember us and visit as often as possible.”

The brief ceremony concluded with a group commemorative photograph.
