Representatives of the uniformed and emergency services gathered in front of the Bolesławiec police headquarters. Police officers, soldiers, firefighters, paramedics, municipal police officers and military police officers, among others, took part in the solemn gesture of remembrance.
At noon, the sirens of official vehicles were switched on. For several minutes, officers and representatives of the services paid tribute to the deceased police officer by saluting and standing in silence in front of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.
It was a symbolic gesture of solidarity and an expression of respect for Natan Sieroń, who died after being shot while on duty.
A similar tribute was paid by police officers from the Lower Silesian garrison, as well as officers from headquarters and police stations across the country and representatives of many different partner uniformed services. On Friday at 12:00, they stopped for a moment to pay tribute to the police officer from the Bolesławiec headquarters who died as a result of injuries sustained while on duty.
