A 29-year-old resident of Osiecznica municipality, suspected of a series of burglaries at garden allotment sheds in Bolesławiec, has been arrested by police. So far, officers have proven that the man committed at least 16 such crimes.
The detainee stole, among other things, power tools and cables. He extracted copper from the latter and then sold it at various scrap-collection points.
The suspect confessed to the crimes. He now faces up to 10 years in prison. Police recovered some of the stolen property.
