The arrest took place on November 29. Officers from Nowogrodziec detained a 25-year-old resident of the municipality, who several hours earlier had broken into one of the roadside bars and stolen meat, cold cuts and confectionery products worth PLN 750.
The officers found the stolen property at the 25-year-old’s home and returned it to the owner. The detainee, who had previously been convicted of similar offenses, confessed. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
