Police detained a 21-year-old man suspected of stealing a car worth PLN 9,000. The crime took place during the night of October 25–26 in a parking lot near a Bolesławiec nightclub. The 21-year-old resident of Bolesławiec noticed that someone had left the keys in the ignition of one of the cars. He decided to take advantage of the opportunity.
The man confessed to the crime. At the suspect’s home, officers found an item originating from the stolen vehicle. Efforts to recover the car are ongoing. The 21-year-old faces up to 5 years in prison.
