Two men suspected of stealing wood from a forest fell into the hands of officers from Nowogrodziec. The 23-year-old from Bolesławiec County and the 32-year-old from Lubań County were caught red-handed while transporting the stolen wood, worth PLN 350, in a car trailer.
Officers also found stolen wood at both suspects’ homes. In total, the officers proved six thefts against the detainees. The 23-year-old and the 32-year-old admitted their guilt. They now face up to five years in prison.
