The Międzyszkolny Klub Sportowy Bolesłavia junior team has reached Poland’s highest athletics league. Our athletes scored 2,749 points in 25 individual events. Promotion to the sixteen best teams in the country is a major success for the club and the city. In the first-league standings, Bolesłavia currently occupies eighth place. In the Junior League final, which will take place in September, the MKS Bolesłavia athletes will fight for an even higher position in the table.

Promotion to the first league was possible thanks to athletes who had already achieved significant success. Here are their names:

  • Ewa Ochocka – an athlete with a first-class sports ranking, participant in the World Youth Championships in Donetsk
  • Bartosz Wróbel – an athlete with a first-class sports ranking, part of the Polish national team training program, Polish runner-up in the 2,000 m steeplechase
  • Dominika Kamińska – an athlete with a first-class sports ranking, bronze medalist at the Polish Championships in the 2,000 m steeplechase
  • Maciej Goss – an athlete with a first-class sports ranking, finalist at the Polish Championships in the 400 m hurdles and the 4x100 m and 4x400 m relays
  • Kacper Olszewski – participant in the School World Championships in the J. Humbert Cup, Polish champion in the javelin throw
  • Dawid Kopała – participant in the international Olympic Hopes competition, Polish champion in the hammer throw
  • Beata Dąbal – bronze medalist at the Polish Indoor Championships in the shot put
  • Damian Gradzik – fourth-place finisher at the Polish Championships in the heptathlon
  • Jakub Rajfur – fifth-place finisher at the Polish Championships in the 110 m hurdles
  • Paweł Jóźwiak – sixth-place finisher at the Polish Championships in the long jump
  • Grzegorz Oślak – finalist at the Polish Championships in race walking
  • Kaja Caban – finalist at the Polish Championships in the high jump
  • Marek Pławiak – finalist at the Polish Championships in the decathlon
  • Monika Sandak – finalist at the Polish Championships in the javelin throw
  • Karolina Mrozik – participant in the Polish Championships in the hammer throw
  • Monika Chmielik – participant in the Polish Championships in the 100 metres
  • Krzysztof Kozdra – participant in the Polish Championships in the 2,000 m steeplechase
  • Beata Cieśla – participant in the Polish Championships in the 2,000 m steeplechase
  • Artur Polański – participant in the Polish Championships in the 400 m hurdles and the 4x100 m and 4x400 m relays
  • Wojciech Karaban – participant in the Polish Championships in the 2,000 metres
  • Michał Bis – participant in the July Polish Championships in the javelin throw
  • Robert Polański – participant in the Polish LZS Championships in the 400 m hurdles and the 4x100 m and 4x400 m relays
  • Mateusz Kopeć – participant in the Polish LZS Championships in the 2,000 m steeplechase
  • Wojciech Kutryba – silver medalist at the macroregional championships in the hammer throw
  • Eryka Baran – finalist at the macroregional championships in the javelin and discus throws.
