During the National Youth Olympics in Lublin, Dawid Barański won the Polish U18 Championship title in the high jump. He secured victory by clearing 204 cm, earning the gold medal and the first national championship title of his career.

After successfully clearing 204 cm, Dawid withdrew from his remaining attempts, saving his strength for the triple jump final, which was still ahead. That was on Friday.

On Saturday, Dawid Barański won his second gold medal. This time, he gave his rivals no chance and won first place in the triple jump! In addition to the gold medal, Dawid took home a fantastic new personal best – 15.10 m! At the moment, this is the sixth-best result in Europe in this age category!

This is a historic success both for the athlete and our entire club. Dawid’s two Polish championship gold medals are the result of many years of work, talent and excellent training preparation.

Our heartfelt congratulations go to Dawid Barański and his coach, Paweł Wiśniewski, for their excellent preparation and outstanding results.
