In the final high jump competition, the young athlete cleared 2.12 m, earning the title of European runner-up. This is an excellent result that confirms his place among the European elite in the under-18 category.

The European U18 Championships are the most important athletics event for athletes in this age category. More than one thousand young athletes from several dozen European countries are competing in Rieti, while qualifying for the Polish national team required athletes to achieve the required standards in advance and pass the national selection process.

Dawid’s success is also the result of many years of work by his coach, Paweł Wiśniewski, and the entire MKS Bolesłavia community. The silver medal won at the European championships is a source of pride not only for the club, but also for the whole of Bolesławiec.

Heartfelt congratulations to Dawid Barański and coach Paweł Wiśniewski for this wonderful result and for proudly representing the city, club and Poland on the international stage.
