The incident occurred on June 30. The 22-year-old stole 7 surveillance cameras installed on the building of the Primary School in Bożejowice. Police officers detained the suspect. The man explained that on the day of the theft, he had met with friends near the primary school. At one point, he decided that the cameras annoyed him, so he stole them.
The 22-year-old resident of the Gmina Bolesławiec had previously been convicted. Police officers recovered 6 of the stolen cameras, worth nearly PLN 4,000. The suspect now faces up to 5 years in prison.
