Police officers from Bolesławiec County arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of theft. The crime took place in one of the apartments in Warta Bolesławiecka Municipality. As officers determined, the man took advantage of the residents’ inattention while they were working in the yard, entered the apartment and stole nearly 2,000 euros. Then, trying to flee the scene quickly, he fell from the balcony onto the terrace. He remained there because, as it turned out, he was too drunk.
When the homeowner saw a stranger on the terrace, she notified the police. The 25-year-old was taken straight to police custody. He now faces up to five years in prison.
