District police officers from Bolesławiec detained a 45-year-old man suspected of stealing a laptop, mobile phone and PLN 50. The crime took place on June 9 in Bolesławiec municipality. The detained 45-year-old took advantage of the fact that the apartment owner had left the door unlocked overnight.
The losses were estimated at nearly PLN 2,500. Police recovered the stolen property and returned it to its owner. The 45-year-old had previously been in conflict with the law. He now faces up to 5 years in prison.
