A series of car thefts began on July 21. A white Volkswagen Golf III was stolen then. The thief took the car from private property on Narcyzów Street. The value of the stolen car was estimated at PLN 7,000.
The following day, a car parked on Staszica Street disappeared. This time, unknown perpetrators stole a maroon Volkswagen T4 worth PLN 12,700. The owner of the cherry-red Renault Megane suffered the greatest loss—PLN 15,000. The car was stolen from Gdańska Street between Saturday and Sunday.
In all three cases, the investigation is being conducted by the Investigation and Criminal Division of the Bolesławiec police.
