A Bolesławiec resident Władysław Warężak was born on January 19, 1913, in Maksymówka. The distinguished celebrant has lived in Bolesławiec since 1954. He worked at the Surmin-Kaolin plant in Nowogrodziec. Together with his wife, Helena, he had three children. After his wife’s death, he moved in with his daughter Grażyna and son-in-law Daniel. He has six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
To this day, Mr. Władysław’s favorite pastimes are singing and solving sudoku puzzles. The birthday celebrant is interested in war literature, sports and beekeeping. He very much enjoys doing crossword puzzles and reading the press.
He celebrated his birthday surrounded by his family. The ceremony was also attended by Bolesławiec Deputy Mayor Kornel Filipowicz and the head of the Civil Registry Office, Monika Zamorska. Everyone wished the celebrant many more years in good health and well-being.
