The final of the Together More Safely competition is behind us. It took place on 21 November at the Old Theatre. The event was organised by the district police commander, Insp. Grzegorz Chirowski, and the commander of the Bolesławiec OHP, Jacek Nesler. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the district governor, Cezary Przybylski.
The contestants had to demonstrate knowledge of police work, road safety, addiction prevention and first-aid rules. The Bolesławiec Voluntary Labour Corps team once again proved unbeatable, winning for the seventh consecutive time. OHP Kamienna Góra took second place, while a team from Mysłakowice came third.
The competition committee, consisting of Senior Commissioner Joanna Kusiak, Aspirant Krzysztof Policht and Junior Aspirant Krysian Płoszak, also presented two special awards. Daniel Klimecki was named the competition's best participant, while Sandra Grzelak was recognised as the most likeable female participant.
The OHP trainees were prepared for the competition by Staff Aspirant Beata Łuczkowska and Subcommissioner Adriana Szajwaj of the Prevention Department of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters.
