First-Year Students’ Day took place on October 2 at the Janusz Korczak II General Secondary School in Bolesławiec. The celebrations were prepared by teacher Elżbieta Magłysz together with class II c, which proved best in last year’s competition for first-year students.
The II LO students’ competition was judged by a jury comprising teachers Mieczysław Szwed and Krzysztof Malina as well as students from class II c.
The high school students had a wonderful time. In the school’s assembly hall, visitors could meet Harry Potter and Hogwarts students, cavemen and an army of SpongeBob SquarePants characters. What is more, each class presented a milk commercial and... a dance with its form teacher.
Class I e won the competition for first-year students and received a day without being called on and sweet treats as its prize.
The same day also saw celebrations of Boys’ Day, prepared by the Student Council.
