The 10th edition of the Military Uniformed Classes Sports and Defence Championships brought together students from many schools, who competed for several days in events requiring both physical fitness and practical skills related to the profile of uniformed classes.
The competition programme included, among other things, the OSF obstacle course, shooting events, grenade throwing and a 1,000-metre run. Each discipline required not only individual preparation, but also cooperation and effective teamwork.
Representatives of II LO in Bolesławiec have good reason to be satisfied. In the mixed-team classification, they left their rivals no doubt. Team number 29 won first place, while the school’s second team (no. 18) finished the competition in second place.
What is more, Kamil Abramowicz and Joanna Raszczuk from Bolesławiec’s II General Secondary School took third place in the teachers’ category.
This result demonstrates not only a high sporting level, but also the consistent preparation of students and teachers.
The competition was organised by the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment and the Association of Former Soldiers of the 62nd Special Company “Commando”.
The competitors received starter packs funded by the Ministry of National Defence.
