A 59-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, who used a crowbar to try to break into two utility rooms in a multi-family building, was apprehended by officers from Bolesławiec. The man did not achieve his goal and left the scene. Residents spotted the would-be burglar and immediately notified the police.
The suspect was detained in a nearby park. He was drunk, with more than one per mille of alcohol in his system. He was taken to police custody. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
