Police officers are checking whether drivers are obeying speed limits and driving sober. Driving under the influence of alcohol and exceeding the permitted speed are the two most common causes of road accidents.
Let us recall that during one of the weekends in March, the Bolesławiec police arrested as many as thirteen drunk drivers. One of them had more than 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his blood.
