Bolesławiec police officers detained two men, aged 51 and 58, who started a fire while smoking in a faulty tiled stove, causing a fire in a residential building. As a result of the fire, part of one of the apartments was destroyed. Fortunately, none of the building’s residents was injured.
Both suspects were drunk when they were detained. They now face up to three years in prison.
