The incident occurred on Friday before 9:00 a.m. on road number 361 in Radoniów near Gryfów Śląski. At an intersection, an unmarked police car failed to yield the right of way. It collided with a car carrying three women and two children. All five were taken to hospital, and one of them was kept under observation.
According to unofficial information, fortunately no one appears to have suffered serious injuries. However, whether the incident will be classified as a collision or an accident will depend on the condition of the person kept under observation.
Firefighters, an ambulance crew and a prosecutor were present at the scene because police officers were involved in the collision.
The driver of the police car was a 33-year-old man from Bolesławiec. He was travelling on duty with another police officer from outside the area.
