The county hospital is in good condition. In the prestigious ranking by the daily newspaper “Rzeczpospolita,” the Bolesławiec ZOZ took 54th place among Poland’s best hospitals, compared with 61st place last year. “I congratulate director Adam Zdaniuk and the entire staff,” says Bolesławiec County head Cezary Przybylski. “This is a great success that makes me very happy, because I have always treated the operation of the SP ZOZ in Bolesławiec as a priority.”

The hospital also operates an Emergency Department. More than PLN 6 million was spent on its construction, including over PLN 4 million in EU funds. Moreover, an oncology unit was established within the surgery department. The county hospital offers specialist examinations such as computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.

The hospital has also been computerized. Thermal modernization of the facility is currently underway. “All this means that the hospital’s debt is systematically decreasing,” Przybylski adds.
