Due to work being carried out on railway line no. 283 on the Żagań–Osiecznica–Zebrzydowa section, temporary closures of two railway-road crossings have been scheduled. According to information from the contractor, Infra SILESIA of Rybnik, the disruptions will occur on two dates: 22–23 and 27–28 October 2026.
The first closure will begin on Thursday, 22 October, and last until Friday, 23 October. During this time, the railway crossing at kilometre 67.925, located along public road no. 103587D, will be unusable around the clock. This is the crossing located near the transport company.
Further disruptions are planned for Tuesday and Wednesday, 27–28 October. The railway crossing at kilometre 68.398, along road G6-103586D, known as the “Mały Tomisław” crossing, will then be closed around the clock.
Diversions for drivers. Pay attention to the signs
Road diversions are to be designated for the duration of both closures. Their routes will be marked with vertical road signs, in accordance with the approved traffic-organisation change plan.
Drivers should pay particular attention to the temporary signs and follow the changes introduced. It is worth taking the planned closures into account when organising journeys to avoid unnecessary delays.
Appeal to residents and road users
People travelling in the vicinity of the railway crossings are asked to exercise caution and observe the applicable road-traffic rules. Following signs informing about the closures and designated diversion routes will be particularly important.
