Trains are once again running along the entire route from Ostrów Wielkopolski to Grabowno Wielkie. Passengers have already been using rail transport since spring on the Ostrów Wielkopolski–Sośnie Ostrowskie section. Over the weekend, trains returned to the Lower Silesian part of the line: from Sośnie Ostrowskie to Grabowno Wielkie.
PKP PLK: – At 10 stations and stops, we modernized and adapted the platforms to the needs of people with reduced mobility—they are higher, and all passengers will be able to board trains from them easily. New benches and shelters have been installed. Good lighting makes travel after dark easier. With people experiencing mobility difficulties in mind, we prepared convenient access routes, while for visually impaired passengers we installed tactile guidance paths on the non-slip surface.
It lists: – Passengers gained better conditions in Topola, Tarchały Wielkie, Odolanów, Garki, Granowiec, Sośnie, Pawłowo, Międzybórz, Bukowina Sycowska and Twardogóra.

We increased the level of safety by rebuilding 23 railway-road crossings; among others, in Topola, Odolanów, Międzybórz, Bukowina Sycowska and Twardogóra, drivers are now stopped by new crossing equipment. At some of them, we replaced the road surface.
More than 50 km of tracks were renovated. The company:
We strengthened the track bed and replaced rails wherever necessary. We rebuilt approximately 40 km of overhead contact line. Both stages of the investment also included renovations of several dozen engineering structures—viaducts, culverts and retaining walls—which are important components of railway lines. Thanks to the works, we raised the standard of passenger travel and ensured good route parameters, resulting in convenient rail connections for both passengers and carriers.
We allocated a total of approximately PLN 180 million net to the project “Works on railway line no. 355 Ostrów Wielkopolski–Grabowno Wielkie”.
