Participants in the campaign received commemorative certificates and small gifts.
Blood donation is especially important during periods when blood donation centers appeal for supplies to be replenished. Blood is a medicine that cannot be produced in a laboratory, so its availability is important, among other things, for people undergoing complex surgeries, victims of road accidents, and patients struggling with serious illnesses.
Every donation can help secure the supplies needed in hospitals. For the donor, it is a relatively small gesture. For someone awaiting a transfusion, however, it can be enormously significant.
