An alarming road incident occurred on July 25, in the afternoon, on Kościuszki Street in Bolesławiec. The accident involved an electric scooter ridden by two minors and an Audi passenger car.
According to the police's preliminary findings, the teenager riding the electric scooter, who was carrying a minor passenger, failed to yield the right of way to an Audi traveling properly. A collision occurred, as a result of which both boys sustained injuries.
We were informed that both the rider and the passenger are residents of Bolesławiec. At the time of the incident, neither of them was wearing a protective helmet. An emergency medical team was called to the scene and transported both injured boys to hospital.
According to information provided by the The Bad Bunzlauer service, one of the boys was reportedly transported by an Air Ambulance Service helicopter to a specialist hospital. This information has not yet been confirmed in an official statement from the services.
The circumstances and exact course of the accident will be investigated by the police. Officers are determining all the details of the incident and its causes.
