On YouTube, a new feature showcasing one of Lower Silesia’s most distinctive historic landmarks has appeared. The film “RAILWAY VIADUCT IN BOLESŁAWIEC – 360° FLIGHTS – FROM A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE” was produced by Stefańczyk Studio.
As highlighted in the description, 360° flights make it possible to capture places in a way that traditional cameras cannot. Dynamic flyovers and panoramic shots reveal both the enormous scale of the viaduct and the surrounding landscape from a perspective unavailable from ground level.
The Bolesławiec railway viaduct is one of Poland’s most valuable historic engineering structures. Built between 1844 and 1846, it remains the country’s longest stone railway viaduct. The structure is 490 metres long, consists of 35 stone arches and rises approximately 26 metres above the Bóbr valley.
It is from the air that the impressive scale of the structure and the regular arrangement of its distinctive arcades can best be seen. The film also shows the picturesque surroundings of the viaduct, allowing viewers to appreciate not only the landmark itself but also its unique setting in the landscape of Bolesławiec.
A specialised drone was used to produce the footage, enabling spectacular 360° shots. This solution makes it possible to create smooth flyovers and frames that emphasise the monumental character of one of Lower Silesia’s most recognisable structures.
The new film is intended both for residents of Bolesławiec and for enthusiasts of history, railways and aerial photography. Even people who know the viaduct well can discover it anew by viewing it from a perspective that fully reveals the scale and architectural beauty of this exceptional structure.
