A new facility is being built in the area of the Bolesławiec viaduct (on the side of Mostowa Street) and is set to become one of the most modern places for roller-skating and inline skating in the region. The investment, worth over PLN 3.2 million, will serve both residents looking for an active form of recreation and people training in sports skating.
The project includes the construction of a multifunctional track with an asphalt surface. It will feature three zones: a recreational route, a speed section intended for fast skating, and a special area for exercises and skating lessons for beginners.
As part of the investment, a track covering more than 4,000 m² and 3 metres wide will be built. The recreational route will be 659 metres long, while the speed section will measure 248 metres. An area for exercises and performing manoeuvres, measuring 38 by 33 metres, and a ramp for roller-skating descents are also planned.
The project will also include supporting infrastructure. A car park for 27 vehicles will be built, including three spaces for people with disabilities, along with an access road, modern LED lighting consisting of 59 fixtures, and monitoring covering the entire investment site. Benches, rubbish bins, bicycle racks and information boards will also be installed.
Once the work is complete, residents will gain a new space for active leisure, recreation and training. Everything indicates that the roller-skating track will become one of Bolesławiec’s most interesting sports attractions.
