The incident took place in Gromadka Municipality. The 33-year-old, who was under the influence of alcohol, allegedly threatened the reporting party with death, assault and setting the building on fire. He also allegedly directed insulting and vulgar words at the victim.
Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters were called to the scene and arrested the man. A test showed that the aggressor had more than 2.5‰ of alcohol in his system.
During the proceedings, police officers from the station in Kruszyn collected evidence that made it possible to charge the 33-year-old. Both the investigators and the prosecutor found that the grounds existed in this case to apply the most severe preventive measure.
The court accepted the application and decided to remand the suspect in temporary custody for two months.
Police report that the suspect acted under recidivism conditions, as he had completed his prison sentence just a few days earlier. For this reason, he faces more severe criminal liability and could be imprisoned for up to 4.5 years.
