We received the entire recording from a resident, but decided to publish only a frame from the film.

The author of the material reports:

“No helmets, riding two at a time, riding on the left side of a municipal road, riding straight toward oncoming traffic, failing to stop, and passing a car coming from the opposite direction on the left... This will end badly one day”.

The outlet added: – The situation took place on the road between Parzyce and Nowogrodziec. We appeal for common sense and compliance with safety rules; a moment of bravado can lead to tragedy.

The topic returns periodically. In mid-June, we reported that a reader Nowogrodziec – news wrote:

Yesterday (June 13 – ed. istotne.pl), while driving along Mickiewicza Street, I was behind a boy on a scooter, about 12 years old. I was heading toward Dino, and so was the boy. There were probably two parked cars in the right lane that had to be passed. A van was coming from the opposite direction, and instead of stopping or even moving onto the sidewalk, the boy forced his way through, passing the cars and thereby passing the van at the same time!

She added that this was by no means the first situation of this kind:

I do not know whether the parents of children who move around the streets so boldly know how their children ride. Some time ago, I also had an incident involving a boy on a scooter. At that time, the boy came out from a road by the apartment blocks onto the main road toward the cemetery, cutting diagonally across the road to get to the other side. He held the handlebars with one hand and a phone in the other, staring at it instead of looking at the road ahead!

I was coming from the opposite direction! He almost went under my wheels!

And she appealed:

PARENT!!! Take an interest in your child! Talk to them about road safety while riding a scooter!

The topic of scooter “road pirates” keeps returning like a boomerang. On The Bad Bunzlauer a photo of a young scooter rider by the viaduct in the City of Ceramics appeared at the beginning of June. The author accompanied it with a humorous but spiteful comment:

The little dude on a scooter—in accordance with the rules, wearing a helmet. Granted, going against traffic on the “national road,” but you can’t expect everything from young people 😁

And immediately added:

Let’s enjoy the little things.

Indeed. Since June 3, 2026, new regulations concerning the safety of the youngest road users have been in force. Children and young people under 16 who ride bicycles, electric scooters, or personal transport devices will be required to use protective helmets. The aim of the changes is to reduce the number of serious head injuries and increase safety on roads, cycle paths, and in public spaces. The photograph reignited the discussion about young road pirates on the roads of Bolesławiec.

As we have unfortunately already emphasized, the topic is not new. Let us recall. On April 19, we quoted a post from The Bad Bunzlauer:

There used to be gangs: rockers on Harleys, mods on scooters. In the age of TikTok... I don’t know, maybe huls, hulajs?

The recording shows a group of children riding scooters across virtually the entire width of the traffic lane. At one point, one of them—with complete nonchalance—crosses a double solid line and enters the opposite lane.

A forum user left a telling comment under the recording:

I also have a recording of these boys’ antics; they drove under cars, attacked drivers who pointed it out, and kicked cars. I have photos and recordings; if the injured person is reading this, please contact me privately. A report will also be sent to the police, because it is not normal for children aged 8–15 to kick cars and drive under vehicles in the city center.

We covered the topic much earlier as well. In September last year, we wrote that we received two reports about the same issue in one day. The first reader:

Please cover the topic of a group of teenagers on bicycles and scooters. They gathered on the lawn by Asnyka Street, where there used to be a ceramic fountain, and then headed down the city toward the Market Square at high speed. The incident took place at around 6 p.m.

And commented:

Because of groups of youths “terrorizing” pedestrians on the sidewalks, it is frightening to leave the house.

He also added:

I am physically fit, but what are older people supposed to say when, due to health limitations, they are unable to get out of the way of a speeding scooter or bicycle.

At the head of the group was a young man who used a horn, and thanks to this no one was injured.

The reader noted that he had spoken about it with a policewoman, but she happened to be occupied with another intervention.

About 1.5 hours later, another reader:
