The incident occurred at night. Police stopped a woman riding a bicycle. During the check, officers found drugs in her possession. The 38-year-old was detained.
Officers searched the suspect’s residence. During the operation, they seized additional prohibited substances—methamphetamine. Police findings indicated that the drugs belonged to the woman’s 50-year-old husband, who was also detained.
It later also came to light that the 38-year-old had supplied narcotics to an acquaintance five times.
The couple were charged with possession of narcotics. In addition, the 38-year-old was charged five times with supplying drugs to another person.
As officers emphasize, this is not the woman’s first conflict with the law related to drug crime. This year, police have already concluded proceedings against the 38-year-old and referred an indictment to the court containing 20 charges related to supplying narcotics.
The court will decide the suspects’ further fate.
