Update
As reported by the Bolesławiec police, a 33-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County, while riding a motorcycle, moved into the opposite lane and caused a collision with a Nissan.
The motorcycle rider, who suffered a spinal injury, was taken to hospital.
A serious road incident occurred on Saturday, June 6, at approximately 4:55 p.m. on county road no. 357, near Osiecznica. As local firefighters reported, an accident involving a motorcyclist occurred there.
Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene. Firefighters from OSP Osiecznica, OSP Parowa and JRG Bolesławiec took part in the operation.
An emergency medical team and a police patrol were also at the scene. Initial information indicates that the person riding the motorcycle suffered serious injuries. The incident was classified as an accident.
Police are investigating the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers are appealing to road users to exercise judgment and caution.
