Dramatic events took place on December 5, 2024, in Rudna. The minor girl (under 15 years of age), who had not attended classes that day because she felt unwell, left home only to have her student ID validated. On her way back, at around 9:26 a.m., her attention was drawn to a luxury Mercedes.

At the wheel was Igor J. – a sales representative from Wielkopolska, who was driving his employer’s company car. When he saw the girl, the man slowed down and pulled alongside her. He then opened the window and said he would give her PLN 500 for performing what is known as another s***ual act.

When the frightened child firmly refused, the attacker did not give up. He raised the offer to PLN 1,000. After she refused again, he also asked whether the girl was sure about her decision, then drove away towards Lubin. The frightened teenager immediately called her mother, who alerted the police.

Modern technology comes to the rescue. The perpetrator remained defiant

Investigators had no difficulty establishing the suspect’s identity. Recordings from the city surveillance system and, most importantly, data from the GPS system installed in Igor J.’s company car proved crucial. The logs clearly confirmed that he was at the location at the time of the incident.

Expert opinion

A forensic psychologist assessed the minor’s testimony as completely sincere, spontaneous and highly credible.

What did J. say?

Igor J. did not admit guilt and refused to provide an explanation. A team of psychiatrists determined that the man had full criminal responsibility at the time of the act. In turn, a forensic psychose***ologist stated that the 20-year-old’s behavior did not result from permanent s***ual preference disorders, but was what is known as a substitute p***philic act. Its purpose? Satisfying a “frustrated need.”

The court imposed a combined sentence. The prosecutor’s office satisfied

J. faced a sentence of between 2 and as many as 15 years in prison. The court found the man from Wielkopolska guilty and decided to apply Article 37b of the Criminal Code, which allows for a so-called combined sentence. The decision was influenced by the fact that the defendant was a young offender with no previous convictions, permanent employment and a permanent place of residence.

The final sentence and criminal measures are as follows:

6 months
