The incident occurred on May 20, in the late morning. Officers from the Police Station in Gryfów Śląski, while patrolling Mirsk, noticed a woman drinking alcohol in a public place. They intervened.
The officers checked the woman’s identity. She turned out to be a 52-year-old resident of Lubań County. – A check of her details in police systems showed that she was wanted to serve a prison sentence of more than six months – explains Junior Aspirant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski.
The woman was arrested and then taken to prison, where she will serve her sentence. In addition, she was fined for drinking in a public place.
