A disturbing incident occurred on Monday, April 27, in Bolesławiec. According to a report from a Reader, a one-and-a-half-year-old child allegedly left a nursery in Bolesławiec on his own and ended up outside its grounds without supervision.

A passerby noticed the child on one of the city’s streets. Seeing a small child left without supervision, he immediately reacted and notified the emergency services.

The Bolesławiec police confirmed the information from the Reader. As reported to the istotne.pl website, on April 27, during the morning hours, officers received a report from a person who had noticed the aforementioned boy, not yet two years old.

The police subsequently determined that the child was in the care of a nearby nursery. The necessary steps were taken at the scene to establish how the child had left the facility and how long he had remained without adult supervision.

The police are currently conducting explanatory proceedings under Article 160 of the Criminal Code, which concerns exposing a person to the direct danger of loss of life or serious injury to health.

Fortunately, nothing happened to the child. We will return to the matter.
