A 21-year-old man was also apprehended by police. He was wanted, among other reasons, for violating a court ban, drug offenses and theft. He will spend one year and nearly three months in prison.
Another person detained was a 49-year-old man convicted of failing to comply with a court ban. In his case, the sentence is six months in prison.
Police emphasize that those detained also included people from outside the region. Officers apprehended, among others, a resident of the Masovian Voivodeship and people from Karkonosze and Złotoryja counties.
Officers point out that operations to determine the whereabouts of wanted people are conducted regularly. The aim is to quickly bring convicted and suspected individuals before the courts and enforce final judgments.
The effectiveness of the latest operations shows that people hiding to evade criminal responsibility must expect to be detained quickly.
