The greatest reason for joy belongs to Weronika Bujak, a student in class IF, who took second place in the category of secondary schools.
That is not the end of the good news, however. The same work also received a special distinction, meaning double recognition from the jury.
Moreover, Weronika’s work is to inspire the creation of a scene on the miniature model of Wrocław’s Kolejkowo – one of the region’s most popular tourist attractions. This is an exceptional distinction that occurs extremely rarely.
Another success was achieved by Lila Kafel, also a student in class IF at the Zespół Szkół Technicznych i Przyrodniczych in Bolesławiec. The jury awarded her an honourable mention.
The competition “A Friendly Space. Here Everyone Can Be Themselves” was organized by the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław in cooperation with Kolejkowo S.A. Its aim was to promote respect, counteract hate and hate speech, and build positive social relationships.
The competition committee emphasized that selecting the winners was not easy. The works were judged not only on their artistic qualities, but also on their message, creativity and educational value.
