He ignored the court order and returned to his family

According to investigators’ findings, the man was subject to a ban on contacting his mother and siblings and was prohibited from coming within 50 metres of them. The restrictions were to remain in force until May 2028.

Despite this, the suspect allegedly moved in with the injured parties. According to the prosecutor’s office, shortly after returning he began behaving aggressively towards the household members.

Brutal attack on his brother and sister

The most serious incident allegedly occurred on 10 April. Investigators claim that the man attacked his siblings. He allegedly grabbed his sister by the neck and punched his brother in the face.

The result? His brother lost two teeth from his upper jaw. The injuries were classified as serious—“lasting more than seven days.”

Neighbour also attacked

That same day, the suspect also directed his aggression at a neighbour. The woman was grabbed by the neck and struck in the face several times. According to investigators, she suffered bruising and contusions.

The prosecutor’s office also reported that the suspect allegedly insulted the household members and the neighbour and threatened to kill them.

He allegedly demanded PLN 5,000

The investigation also found that the 47-year-old allegedly tried to extort PLN 5,000 from his mother and sister. They were supposedly to pay him for purchasing and installing floor panels.

He had already been convicted

The suspect admitted only that he had contacted his family and moved in with them despite the ban. He refused to provide any further explanations.

Investigators emphasise that the man had previously been convicted by the courts several times and left prison in February 2025. He allegedly committed the offences while a repeat offender.

He faces years in prison

For the alleged offences, the 47-year-old faces a sentence of between four months and seven years and six months in prison. The case is being handled by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bolesławiec.
