In June this year, we reported that Bolesławiec artillerymen train Afghans. Nevertheless, the activities of the Artillery Training Team, commanded by Lt. Col. Paweł Świtalski, involve more than just training. The soldiers protect the base and hone their shooting skills. Moreover, as part of cooperation with the U.S. Army, six members of the Artillery Training Team completed a course for armored vehicle drivers. Those who completed it were: Capt. Robert Paradziński, Warrant Officer Robert Szwejkowski, Warrant Officer Dariusz Cesarski, Warrant Officer Zbigniew Mydłowski and Warrant Officer Mariusz Szewiak.

The mission in Afghanistan is not only hard work. Our artillerymen also have time for rest, sports and entertainment. They can use well-equipped gyms and exercise rooms, and play billiards and table tennis. It is worth adding that representatives of the Team won a volleyball tournament organized as part of the Independence Day of the United States.
