The event is organized by 10 Brygada Kawalerii Pancernej w Świętoszowie. The exercises will involve brigade soldiers, as well as the police, fire service and representatives of public administration.

Possible disruptions in Osiecznica

As reported by OSP Osiecznica, temporary traffic disruptions may occur during the exercises, particularly in the vicinity of:

  • the Osiecznica Municipal Office
  • the Osiecznica Health Centre.

Residents are asked to exercise caution and follow the instructions of the services directing traffic.

What will happen?

The organizers announce that the exercises may include:

  • increased service-vehicle traffic
  • the use of flashing lights and sound signals
  • simulated rescue operations
  • scenarios for responding to crisis situations.

This means that residents may see realistic operations by the services, but these will be exclusively exercise activities.

Why are the exercises being organized?

The aim of the event is to check the readiness of the services and improve cooperation between institutions responsible for safety. The organizers point to several key objectives:

  • improving cooperation between different services
  • testing crisis-response procedures
  • increasing operational readiness
  • simulating real threats

Important information for residents

If residents notice a larger number of police cars, fire engines or military vehicles on 21–22 April, this should not cause concern. These are planned exercises aimed at increasing the region’s safety.

The event’s slogan is: “Safety is our shared responsibility.”
