The incident occurred on April 1, after 8:00 a.m., at a pedestrian crossing in Kruszyn near Bolesławiec. The 71-year-old Mercedes driver, a resident of our county, hit a woman from Zgorzelec County on the crossing.
She was taken to hospital. It is not yet known how serious her injuries are.
The driver was sober. Officers appeal for prudence and caution on the road.
